Sure, we are usually at the school around lunch time. Master Ron and some of us Sifus lift weights there at that time. Drop on by then or you are welcome to bring your son by kids class anytime. We’ll let him get in there and try it out. Tell them Sifu Marty sent you.
Hi my son is four years old. He will be five on September 21. He is very active and shows interest in Martial Arts. We are trying to find a school that will accept him at his age. He is intellegent and able to do what is asked of him.
Hi Amber, this is Sifu Marty responding to you. I started my boy when he was five, he will be six in August. Check out his picture on my page. He is now a yellow belt. Kung Fu has taught him the values of respect and hard work. He has also become much more coordinated! Bring your son in, we will glady welcome him into our kung fu family! There are two other 5 year olds in class.
My son is 7 yrs old and I would like to enroll him in your school as soon as possible. I think it will teach him discipline and raise his self esteem. He’s not currently involved in any extracurricular activites. What do you suggest?
Sorry for the late reply. Sure bring him in. We’d love to have him. Our school is strong in discipline and our “family” atmosphere is sure to raise anyone’s self esteem. Plus, he’ll get to learn KUNG FU! How cool is that?
Sorry for the late reply. Ok, here’s what you do. Click on our “Directions and Connections” link, just above on the right. There you will find a map along with a telephone number. Then just follow the map, call if you like, and come join us one evening. Our classes are on Mon, Wed, and Thurs nights. Adult class, which you will both be in should you choose to join, starts at 7p.m. Hope to see you soon!
My name is Phillip Cleveland, and I am a Correctional Officer at Estelle High Security going on 4 years now. I was browsing some of your videos, and was very interested in studying with your school. I work 4 on 4 off right now on night shift, but was thinking about putting in a transfer back to days to open my scedule. Martial Arts has always been something I’ve wanted to learn, and working where I do, I feel I need to be prepared for anything. I also have a son that just turned 1 in Nov. and would like to prepare for him to be trained in the near future. Of all the schools I’ve browsed near and around Huntsville, yours stood out the most, Small, not to many students, and students who have remained with the school through out most of their lives. Is there a good time to reach you? I would like to learn more about your school.
Good to hear from you, and thanks for showing interest in our school. The best way to find out more is to show up at one of our classes. See class schedule. You are more than welcome to come in and try it out and see what San Soo is all about. Ours is one of the best schools in the country, that’s not me being biased, I have done the research. Master Ron is an excellent teacher and contains a vast array of knowledge. I’ve studied at the Dragon’s Temple for Four years now and he still has tricks up his sleeve that impress us all. Come by. We have several local COs and Law Enforcement students.
My daughter is 5 and I am interested in putting her in the kids class. Are you accepting now? If not, when will the next class begin and when can I register her? Thanks, Matt.
Hello, I am a student at SHSU with too much free time. I was interested in getting back into martial arts. I have a black belt in taekwondo which I received a long while back (before high school). Are you guys accepting new students? Could I attend a class to see if i like it?
Sure, come on by. See our class schedule and show up. Ask for Master Ron or speak to one of our SiFus. There is a map on the directions link. We are not far from the college. Less than three miles. Come by for a visit, we hope you’ll like it.

What are the typical ages for the adult classes? I am 25 years old and interested in the course.

14 to 60 year olds attend our adult classes. We are like a big family and it is not uncommon for our adults to also attend the Kids class.
